Phase 1 - Secure The Vote
We must protect the right to vote, the cornerstone of our democracy, by ensuring fair access for every voter and accurate counting of every ballot.
Protecting Our Democracy
A democracy must be rooted in the relational spirit of covenant. The Covenant is our shared commitment to our democratic foundations secured through grassroots activism and policy reform.
Democracy can only work when every citizen can participate freely and fairly. Thus, our first priority is ensuring the integrity of our electoral system which we can achieve by:
- Ending partisan gerrymandering
- Reforming the Federal Judiciary
- Modernizing The Electoral College
When we secure the vote, we secure the foundation of our democracy and restore faith in our institutions.
Phase 2 - Secure The Money
A sustainable fiscal policy that uplifts every community is the key to creating a stable economy, the foundation of our shared prosperity.
Economic Justice For North Carolina
Economic justice is rooted in our shared covenant as a people and begins with a government that raises revenue to ensure that we secure sufficient resources for schools, healthcare, infrastructure, and innovation.
To achieve our goals, we must:
- Raise revenue without stiffling growth
- Make taxes fair, progressive, & simple
- Ensure long term stability & broad prosperity.
By ensuring long-term fiscal sustainability, we honor our responsibility to future generations and create broad prosperity that uplifts every community, not just the powerful few.
Phase 3 - Secure The Social Infrastructure
Social infrastructure is the backbone of thriving communities. We must invest in the systems that support the creation of opportunities for all.
Healthcare Access
Expand Medicaid, support rural hospitals, and ensure quality healthcare is
accessible and affordable for every North Carolina family.
Education Excellence
Fully fund public schools, support teachers with competitive salaries, and
make higher education affordable for all students.
Broadband Infrastructure
Connect rural and underserved communities with high-speed internet to
unlock economic opportunities and educational resources.
Job Creation
Attract sustainable industries, support small businesses, and create
pathways to good-paying careers in emerging sectors.
